That's why having an irrigation system is so important, but there are a few things to consider before you go ahead with installing one. First, you'll want to make sure you hire a licensed irrigator because they have all the necessary knowledge and experience to install it right the first time. Not only that, you want to make sure the company you choose considers the different needs of your property when designing it, as these systems aren't one-size-fits-all. Additionally, you'll want to utilize technology, as it makes it so much easier to use your new irrigation system. Finally, the company you hire should be able to give you a written proposal and a warranty so you feel confident working with them. --- ## Hire a Licensed Irrigator to Install Your Irrigation System ![Blog Irrigation System Install](https://greenackors.com/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/blog-content-irrigation-system-install.webp) When installing a new irrigation system on your property, you want to make sure the company you hire knows what they’re doing. That’s why it’s best to make sure you go with a licensed irrigator, as they are the **most experienced and knowledgeable in their field, and they'll get the job done right**. That way, you can rest easy knowing that your irrigation system will be installed properly. In order to install irrigation systems in Texas, companies need to be licensed. --- ## Choose a company that will consider the different needs of your property when designing an irrigation system. Irrigation systems may seem straightforward when it comes to their design, but it’s more complicated than you think. **There is no one-size-fits-all approach to irrigation systems **because every property is different. Some areas may need big turf rotors, while others may need small spray heads. On the other hand, some areas may need a drip irrigation system to get water directly to the roots of plants. When installing a new irrigation system, make sure the company you choose takes all of these things into consideration when designing it, as they should be meticulous and thorough so it functions the way you need it to. --- ## An irrigation system equipped with smart technology will make your life easier. Lots of traditional irrigation systems can only be controlled by timers that you have to manually set. Thanks to new advancements in technology, they have become easier to use than ever before. WiFi controllers **can be managed through your smartphone**, so you can control everything right from there. Similarly, smart controllers are able to keep up with the weather forecast, so if it’s going to rain, your system won’t dispense water, which **saves you money**. Because of this, it's best to install a new irrigation system with technology to make your life easier. --- ## Get a written proposal and warranty from the irrigation installation company. Irrigation systems have lots of moving parts, so you want to be sure you know what you’re paying for during the installation process. When you hire a company to install your irrigation system, make sure you get a written proposal so **you know where your money is going**. It should include how many zones are being set, how many sprinkler heads you’re getting, the type of controller, and more. Not only that, but you want to make sure the company you work with gives you a warranty. Anyone who installs a good quality irrigation system **will not hesitate to give you a two-year warranty** because they want you to feel as confident and secure in their service as they do. --- ## Call us to sign up for our irrigation installation service!
